DAVIE VAN DE
WATER ("DAVIE V.") Professional
DJ for over 15 Years
EXPERIENCE
: Davie has been an entertainer for 20 years at Weddings, Corporate
Events, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, School/Church Events, Block Parties and
Birthday Parties.
THE NIGHT LIFE
: In the 80’s, Davie V was the first graduate from the intern program
at the hottest nightclub in the Hudson Valley, Let's Dance. From
there he went from a DJ/MC to the captain of the “Fun Team” and was in
the middle of all the nightly madness. His crowning achievement was
bringing the Guitar Player from Hell contest to the area.
Entertaining and keeping the crowd energized is never a question when
Davie has the mike.
RADIO DAYS
: Davie graduated from the Center for the Media Arts in Manhattan. He
was a weekend warrior for WPDH and later went on to the overnight
shift on K104.
PROFESSIONAL
SPORTS : Davie was the Director of Marketing and Sales
and the voice of the Adirondack Lumberjacks Professional Baseball
Team. He brought the "Zolz" style of fun to Adirondack Region.
Making independent baseball a family fun environment was the top
priority for Davie and he did just that. Every now and then, when
Zolz needs a night off at the Renegades games. you can catch Davie in
action and the fun stays right on track. Why?... because
"FUN IS GOOD"!
LET'S GET
PERSONAL : Davie is a native of Poughkeepsie. He has been
involved in sports his whole life and has achieved many levels of
success…..He has hit home runs, pitched no-hitters, bowled a 300 game,
and he has made a hole in one. It's that competitive nature that
drives him to be the best entertainer possible. Now he enjoys
spending as much time on the golf course as possible. Davie is happily
married to his wife Nichole, and they are starting their family
together but that won't slow him down. Davie will continue to
entertain the Hudson Valley just as he always has.

RADIO DAYS
: The Shark made many cameo appearances with the Zolz on the WPDH
Morning Show and on the Zolz and the Athletic Supporters show on ESPN

PROFESSIONAL
SPORTS : While he was busy as the Head Groundskeeper at the
Renegades, you could always find Mikey up in the P.A. booth with Zolz
assisting with the music choices and helping out on the field with the
between innings entertainment. A few years later, you could hear him
announcing at the inaugural season of the semi-professional football
franchise, the Hudson Valley Giants in Kingston, NY.
LET'S GET
PERSONAL : Mikey takes his profession as an entertainer very
seriously. He has a great mix of class, professionalism and goofiness
that seems to fit his clients' needs. He is currently working towards
his second college degree while working full time and DJ'ing on the
weekends. He plays too much golf (his wife will attest to that) and he
holds the distinction of being the busiest human in the Dutchess
County area, second only to his boss, Rick Zolzer.

LET’S GET PERSONAL
:
Ever since he was a kid doing character voices and causing chaos in
Elementary School to looking up at thousands of fans as he does a
contest on the ice now at Quinnipiac, his main goal remains the same,
and that is to entertain his audience. He works full time in
Connecticut and travels home on the weekends to DJ because he loves it.
